7 Wrong Money Beliefs to Eliminate from Your Mind
Many people have wrong money beliefs that slowly destroy their budgets. We make money mistakes without realizing the harsh consequences that come along with it. No matter how much money you earn, it’s never enough. My rich friends always complain about money, and it’s actually ridiculous. We don’t need a lot of money to be happy; it’s the main rule to follow in life. Here are seven wrong money beliefs that you should eliminate from your mind and life today.
1. I will never improve my finances
Yes, you will never improve your finances if you continue moaning about it every minute. Positivity breeds positive actions and positive results. Think of all possible ways to increase your income, choose the best one and use it to move your finances forward. Maybe you need to change your job, break bad habits and party less. Reduce your expenses and make smart purchases. You can save hundreds of dollars each month just by budgeting your money properly. Stay positive and believe in yourself.
2. I can’t build my savings account
One of my best friends who have a higher paycheck than I have always complain that she can’t build her savings account because she can’t afford it. But she can afford to buy plenty of expensive things that she doesn’t need at all. I don’t judge her, but when she asked me how to save money and I shared my secret with her, she told me that saving is not as difficult as she thought. Regardless of your income, you cab build your savings account. If you can’t deposit $100-$300 a month, consider depositing $50 a month. Even $10-20 a month will be enough to grow your savings account balance.

3. I will never become rich
I don’t like the word ‘never’ and I don’t like when people say that they will never do anything. If you believe that you will never become rich, no wonder you are not rich. But I wonder why so many people want to be rich and what they do to reach their financial goals. First of all, they waste their lives. The only goal they set is to earn money and nothing more. Remember, you can earn enough money to live a happy life, but don’t aim to make as much money as possible, because you will never achieve this goal.
4. I will never pay off my debts
It’s easy to run into debt, but it’s so hard to settle it. However, don’t say that you will never pay off your debts. When you manage your money properly, it’s possible to pay more than your minimum, which will help you get out of a debt in a year. Don’t allow your debts control your mind and your life, you are strong enough to control your debts.
5. I’m the only one who has financial setbacks
Believe it or not, but you are not the only one who has financial problems. Life is full of problems, including financial ones. Most of us have to deal with those problems each day and there’s nothing wrong with that. Stay positive, think clearly and you will be able to cope with any financial setback.
6. It’s too early to save for retirement
In fact, it’s never too early to start saving for retirement. The earlier you start, the better. If you are in your early 20s and you already have a full-time job, it’s time to think about a 401(k) plan or an individual retirement account.
7. It’s too late to improve my finances
Actually, it’s never too late. My grandma started improving her finances in her late 50s and she managed to do it. She always says that if a person wants to do something they don’t look for excuses, they start doing it no matter their age. Whether you want to pay off a debt, improve your credit score or save some cash, just do it. Regardless of age, we all make financial mistakes and it’s never too late to change the situation and get back on track.
Eliminate these money beliefs from your mind and life to change your financial situation and have a sustainable future. Are you going to get rid of any of these money beliefs? Do you have any other money beliefs?

Adoption Is the Best Option: Why You Should Adopt Rescue Pets
No matter whether you like dogs or cats, there are many reasons to adopt a rescue pet. Most people get a purebred pet from an expensive breeder without realizing how wonderful a pet from a shelter can be. Don’t get me wrong, I love animals – all of them – but I can’t understand people who claim rescue pets are sick and disobedient. Yes, it’s partially true, but when you adopt a sick pet you have a wonderful opportunity to save at least one little life today. Like homeless children, rescue pets are disobedient because no one cares about them. Check out some of the most important reasons why adoption is the best option when it comes to rescue animals.
1. Adult pets deserve love too
Let’s be honest, most people adopt kittens or puppies and only few of us think of adopting an adult pet. Everyone wants a little baby. But adult pets need and deserve love too. The best advantage of adopting adult animals is that they’re well behaved and already trained. A puppy or a kitten requires lots of time and commitment while adult pets are already quite affectionate.
2. Save a life
Saving an animal life is another great reason to adopt a rescue pet. Some shelters run out of cages and are forced to euthanatize poor animals. Put an end to this and adopt at least one rescue animal today. Not only will you save the life of a loving and cute pet, you will bring some joy in your life as well.
3. They are cheaper
Usually it’s much cheaper to adopt an animal from a shelter or rescue group than to buy them from a breeder. Typically shelters charge an adoption fee about $150, but that covers neutering or spaying, basic health check-up, a first set of vaccinations, microchip, and many helpful tips on how to care of a new pet. Breeders can run you between $500 to a tremendous $2,000. So think twice before buying an animal. Besides, you can adopt a pet for free too.

4. Give them a second chance
When these pets stay in shelters, they have the basics to survive. Many of them come from rough backgrounds, and some pets end up in shelters because they were abused. These animals aren’t broken and they deserve a second chance. Before I adopted my dog from a shelter, he was abused. I can say he is an amazing dog. Knowing that you give a rescue pet a second chance is a really rewarding feeling.
5. Rescue pets give unconditional love
Rescue pets need someone to love them and take care of them. In return they give you unconditional love. Just think about lovely pet running up to you and placing their front paws on your knees. Animals can love you in a way you couldn’t even imagine. And how can you turn down that kind of love?
6. They’re healthy
One of the most common misconceptions about rescue pets is that they’re dangerous, unhealthy, or even broken. In truth, these poor animals end up in a shelter because of their previous owners: the family didn’t have enough time to take care of the pet, they had to move, or they just no longer wanted a pet. Go to your local shelter and you will be surrounded by healthy and happy animals.
7. They will make your life happier
Perhaps, this is the most rewarding reason to adopt a rescue pet. Just knowing that you’re giving a poor animal a happy life, a caring family, and a loving home, can give you an amazing feeling of joy. Knowing that you have unconditional love for your pet and seeing that furry face smiling up to you will leave you feeling great. You will never feel lonely again and you will have someone to help you get through rough times.
When adopting animals from a shelter, you give them a second chance of a better life filled with happiness and love. The sad truth is many of us are selfish towards animals but I hope you love animals and will adopt at least one rescue pet down the road. Do you think pet adoption is a great option? Little Imp: Why Your Feline Friend Claws and How to Save Your Home
Cats are mysterious and fascinating animals that have some bad habits too. Why do cats claw? This is a question that many cat owners ask. While the answer is pretty obvious, it’s important to understand a true reason and find the safest way to prevent your feline friend from destroying your furniture and the entire house. I forgive my cat many pranks because I’m bad at punishing and teaching good behaviors. So I spent a few days searching for some tricks and then testing them, and here’s what I found out:
Strong defense
All cats scratch and claw, from the smallest house cat to the largest wild cat. The use of claws is instinctual; cats use their claws both for defense and for scent marking. Cats have scent glands in their paws, as well as other places on their bodies. Cats in the wild and outdoor cats use these various scent glands to mark their territory, a way to tell other cats in the area “Hey, this is my area!” This instinct does not disappear just because a cat lives indoors and as an only cat.
Kitty’s mani
This is frequently overlooked by first time cat owners is that a cat’s claws never stop growing. The same way that your nails would continue to grow, out of control, if you stopped cutting them, a cat’s would do the same. Cat’s nails also have an outer sheath that peals away as the nail grows. Clawing helps to remove this sheath, keep the claws sharp for defending the cat’s territory and help to keep the nail from growing into the paw pad. Cats who don’t scratch and claw often wind up with over grown nails that grow into the paw pad if not trimmed, this makes walking painful and will cause an infection.

4 ways to prevent your cat from ruining your furniture, walls and carpets
1. Professionally trimmed nails
Now that you know the reason for the clawing and that it’s instinctual and important to your cat’s health and well being, how to stop your kitty from shredding your new couch? Relax, there are a few ways to save your furniture. Keeping your cat’s nails trimmed is one way to cut down on clawing, if the nails are kept short they won’t do as much damage to your furniture, walls and carpet. This doesn’t, however, completely eliminate the desire to scratch.
2. Scratching posts
Instead of trying to stop a cat’s natural instinct completely, why not redirect them to an area where they are allowed to scratch and exercise their natural instinct? Scratching posts are designed specifically with cats in mind to allow them to keep their claws healthy and allow them to mark something as their own to their heart’s content. Scratching posts come in a variety of sizes and types for every home. There are small scratching posts that can sit on the floor if your cat tends to go for the carpet, scratching posts that can be hung from a door frame or wall and tall cat trees that act not only as a scratching post, but as a play area and sleeping area.
3. Correct location
Getting a cat to use a scratching post is not a difficult process. Placing the cat tree or scratching post in the area most often clawed is a good way to start. When you catch kitty clawing the back of the couch, simply move them to the scratching post, after a few times of doing this they should get the idea. Many cats are attracted to catnip and sprinkling dried catnip or using a catnip spray on the scratching post or cat tree can help to attract the cat to it. While some cats don’t have any interest in catnip at all, others seem to be able to smell it from a mile away and will come running.
4. Start early
It’s a great idea to purchase a cat tree and some smaller scratching posts before bringing a new cat home. This will allow you to start training your new friend to use them immediately and will increase your chances of the cat using the appropriate scratching areas from day one. Some cats will already know what a scratching post is and instinctually use it if it’s available to them.
Remember that a cat isn’t scratching because they’re trying to misbehave or “get back at you because they’re angry”, they’re doing it because it’s an instinct and is required for the health of the nails. A cat tree or scratching post and a little bit of training will go a long way in saving your furniture and keeping your cat happy and healthy. How do you protect your home from your cat’s sharp nails?
